Sector PA Networks

In addition to the Regional PA Networks across the UK, there are also networks dedicated to specific sectors.  The networks operate in a largely similar way to our Regional PA Networks, with numerous events and networking opportunities.

Please see below for more details…

Please note the Sector Networks are not owned or a subsidiary of EPAA Ltd.

PACE is a free, national, independent, informal specialist network of chief executive assistants from across the voluntary sector, which gives members an opportunity to share good practice, exchange information and support each other by email, and to meet other chief executive assistants for development days and networking sessions.

The network was created in 2005 and has grown to over 250 members from a diverse range of charities spread throughout the UK. It focuses on the specialised aspects of the chief executive assistant role and the partnership with the chief executive including:

  • Ways of working and communicating
  • Trust and confidentiality
  • Development of specialist competencies
  • Training
  • Boundaries
  • Managing change
  • More recognition for CEO assistants
  • Networking and sharing challenges, solutions, best practice and organisational strategies
  • Understanding how a charity works

There is no membership fee and our networking and development sessions are free. We run on a very simple basis via email, with no internet or social media presence. There’s no expectation or commitment involved in PACE – members can participate, or not.

Network members feel empowered in the knowledge that they belong to a group of peers who meet similar challenges and issues in their specialised role, and value the ideas and discussion generated. PACE can also help chief executives make the most of their assistant.

PACE runs on a totally voluntary basis with no money.

PACE is a member of the National Council of Voluntary Organisations.

PACE is co-ordinated and developed by its founder Diana Bramson –

The aim is to be the largest LGBT group for Administrators and Assistants. We are creating a space to share knowledge, learn new skills from industry experts but also make friends and chat with people who have faced the same experiences and struggles as you. Most importantly, we want you to have fun in an environment where you can be yourself.
