Public Speaking/Presentation Skills Workshop – London 2023

This one day training workshop was identified by EPAA members as an area of development sought during 2021.

Public speaking and presenting can be a daunting experience, without relevant advice and skills training. It is an area that is not natural to many Executive and Personal Assistants and something of which many Assistants shy away from.

Fear, lack of self worth and confidence is felt across many levels of the profession and this workshop has been put together to help you overcome this.

Presenting and speaking in public is not always about getting up onto conference stages or speaking at events. It is how you present yourself internally and externally in a work setting and also having the confidence to make your voice heard.  This could be presenting at a board meeting, team meetings, company events, project managing, to navigating your worth with your leaders when it comes to performance reviews and beyond.

Essentially it is about presenting in front of an audience – an audience can be as little as one person to hundreds!

The benefits to mastering public speaking and presentation skills can be far reaching and could lead to advancements in your EA career, new connections and opportunities not to mention increased communication and confidence!

You will learn:

  • Qualities of an effective presenter
  • Planning and structuring your presentation
  • Presentation tools and models
  • Presentation styles
  • Overcoming problems and fears with presenting
  • Presentation practice
  • Digital certificate of attendance
  • 10 CPD credits for EPAA members who are part of the CPD programme
  • All refreshments and lunch
  • Workbook

This session has been built for those who are in business or executive support roles – Administrative Assistants, EA, PA, VAs, Business Support Manager and Executive Support Manager.
