Growth and confidence go hand in hand when you are trying to chart a successful assistant career. Confidence is a topic of which assistants regularly mention as something that stops you from asking for that pay rise, asking for training, putting yourself forward for projects or promotion and generally feeling satisfied with your career.

Many assistants in the UK have suggested recently they are not sure where they want their career to go.  Some have thought it may be time to leave the profession entirely?  Or perhaps you might just be feeling generally flat about work and not energised or inspired by your day-to-day duties?

This day will be action packed, fast paced with lots of speakers from a variety of backgrounds and several bosses too! All of the sessions will give you some grounded advice, along with some practical hints and tips to help you get to where you want to be.

The last few years have been tough. A global pandemic with lockdowns and restrictions, a cost-of-living crisis, rail strikes and chaos around every other corner.  We also now have a possible recession looming too.

Lots of events for assistants are financially not viable, especially now in these economically tough times.  With bills set to rise again in October and the winter months typically being more challenging for many mentally, we wanted to bring you an event that was not only affordable with no travel costs, but also keeping motivation and confidence levels up, with some
