Campaigns, Policies & Research

EPAA commits to supporting and/or creating a number of campaigns and initiatives to our membership and the profession worldwide.

Over the coming years we will be launching campaigns on specific areas, identified during the focus groups for EPAA’s Inception, crucial to the onward success and longevity of our profession.

Some of our campaigns include:

  • Equality – the only profession that has a gender split of 97% Female and 3% Male!
  • Time to Train
  • Role Perception
  • Fair pay and robust recruitment processes
  • Schools and Universities
  • Providing a voice and say on behalf of our members, on policies that affect our working lives
  • Workplace EA/PA Bullying

Initiatives

EPAA’s National and Regional Advisory Boards will decide upon a number of initiatives that will be supported by the Association over the coming years.

These will be a combination of work and well-being initiatives, ensuring that our members are fully equipped and supported to lead the best possible careers and lives they can have.

Not Just a Girl's Job

The ‘Not Just a Girls Job’ is a campaign brought to you by EPAA UK, which aims to challenge common assumptions and perceptions of the EA/PA being a career just for women.

Careers, Salaries & World of Work

In the Autumn of 2018, we launched our first ever careers survey for Business Support Professionals to gain a valuable insight into the first-hand experiences of individuals working in this vast and rapidly changing sector.

Time to Train Campaign

The UK and global job markets are changing rapidly, thanks in part to technological advancements that aren’t just changing how we work, but whether or not certain industries and specific job roles will even have a part to play in the future of business.
