EPAA Training Course – People Management for EAs

This intensive one-day programme has been designed for Executive and Personal Assistants undertaking people management activities.

To be a great people manager takes skill, determination and a willingness on your part to offer a fantastic and inspiring supervisory service.

Stepping into an EA/PA role which includes managing people can be tough and this one-day programme directly recognises and works on this aspect of the role.

When leading a team, it is your duty to know how to get the best out of them, working cohesively, while inspiring and empowering them to be the best they can be. It’s no secret that this in turn leads to higher productivity and a happier workforce!

According to research carried out, ineffective people management costs the UK over £19 billion in lost working hours per year and only one in five respondents claimed they had management training.

The role of people manager/supervisor/team leader will only likely increase for many Executive and Personal Assistants. With our programme you can expect practical exercises, theory and group discussions on what it takes to be a great People Manager.

We will provide delegates with the key components and lots of resources in order to foster a fantastic, healthy and productive team environment, whether that is managing one person or a team of people.

Who is this course for?

This course is suitable for EAs and PAs who have taken on the role of line management/team leading/supervisory. This could be managing another administrative professional or a team of PAs/Secretary’s.

Costs:

  • £220 + VAT – Members
  • £320 + VAT – Non Members

Costs include all course materials, books, refreshments and lunch. All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance, as well as EPAA CPD credits, for those members who participate in the CPD scheme.

Pre Course:

A pre-course questionnaire is sent to all delegates prior to the training programme to ensure that we meet the needs of all.

Post Course:

Our support doesn’t stop when you leave the course!

All delegates will be offered a further 30-minute coaching slot, as part of your development with the course tutor. This is optional but we strongly hope delegates take advantage of this, as part of ongoing development and successful learning outcomes. This is suggested to take place within three months of course completion.
